Our approach

From an identified need to a shared solution, the Lab moves forward with the people who know the ground and with the knowledge of the grandes écoles.

  1. Start from a societal need

Purchasing power, student engagement, child protection: each programme answers a need identified on the ground.

  2. Design with the academic community

Students, alumni, faculty and experts from the grandes écoles bring their knowledge to each project.

  3. Experiment with the regions

Programmes are built with local stakeholders: local authorities, sector organisations, local shops.

  4. Open up to as many people as possible

Solutions that prove their worth are rolled out to benefit as many people as possible.

Our commitments

A disinterested innovation lab, open well beyond the student world.

Not-for-profit

The Lab is run by the FMGE, a student-governed not-for-profit association (French 1901 law). Its programmes pursue no profit.

In the public interest

It works for broad audiences: students, professionals, residents and local stakeholders.

Academic rigour

Its projects draw on the knowledge and expertise of the grandes écoles, their students and their alumni.
